The masthead sensor platform is designed to support all sensors that need to be positioned above the sail and in unobstructed air. This includes an anemometer, wind vane, air temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, light sensor, CO2 sensor, AIS receiver, and more. The structure is lightweight yet robust enough to withstand rolling in waves.
The sensor mount comes standard with four sensors: an anemometer, wind vane, air temperature sensor, and barometric pressure sensor. Additional sensors can be purchased separately and will be configured at our facility. Please note, the Masthead Sensor Mount is only compatible with Silicon Sailor and Hybrid Voyager.
